CNRS President Visits NewFoS

On October 23, 2024, a delegation from the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), led by Chairman and CEO Dr. Antoine Petit, visited the University of Arizona to explore collaborative research efforts and new innovations on campus. Greeted by Elliott Cheu, interim senior vice president of research, the delegation engaged with researchers across fields such as environmental justice, agrivoltaics, and ecology. Dr. Petit and his team toured the Grand Challenges Research Building (GCRB), home to the New Frontiers of Sound Sciences and Technology Center (NewFoS), directed by CNRS Fellow-Ambassador Pierre Deymier.
