Associate Research Professor,
Director, Center for Educational Assessment, Research, & Evaluation (CEARE)

Adriana Cimetta, PhD, MPH, is an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology. Her expertise is in mixed methods research and evaluation, educational measurement and assessment, STEM and early childhood evaluation, and organizational change. Her research focuses on understanding the dynamics and processes of learning and development based on the backgrounds and experiences of young children and students of all ages.

Dr. Haeger is the Research Director for the Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Learning Center and an Assistant Professor in Educational Policy Studies and Practice. Her research is focused on equity in educational practices and barriers to full participation in STEM education. Her research is used to inform programmatic interventions aimed at engaging students that have been traditionally marginalized in higher education and creating more inclusive and culturally responsive STEM learning environments.

Graduate Assistant

Maham Khalid is a doctoral candidate in the Educational Psychology department at the University of Arizona. Her research interests focus on students' emotions, motivation, and sense of belonging, and their influence on learning experiences. She is also a research affiliate at the Center for Educational Assessment, Research, and Evaluation (CEARE), where she contributes to various evaluation projects aimed at improving STEM undergraduate programs.

Priscila Ledezma is a Research Scientist at the Center for Educational Assessment, Research, & Evaluation (CEARE) at the University of Arizona. With a strong foundation in educational psychology and research methodology, she is passionate about using her expertise to empower individuals and promote their growth to achieve their full potential. Over the course of her career, Priscila has gained extensive experience in diverse educational settings, including classrooms, research environments, and community outreach initiatives.

Graduate Assistant

YoungHoon Koh is a Ph.D. student in the Higher Education program at the University of Arizona. Prior to joining the NewFoS team, YoungHoon has accumulated diverse research experience at institutional and national levels in the field of education. He feels proud of his international education background since he received an M.A. in Higher Education from University College London in the United Kingdom, and a B.A. in Education from Chung-Ang University in South Korea.

Graduate Assistant

Desire Tossoukpe is a Ph.D. student in Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona, a Fulbright scholar, and a University Fellow. He holds an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Lomé (Togo) and an M.A. in TESL from the University of Arizona. As a member of the NewFoS team and an affiliate of the Center for Educational Assessment, Research, and Evaluation (CEARE), he helps advance educational quality through program evaluation and training to enhance teaching, learning, and student success.
