Empower Innovation: Invest in the Future of Sound Science.
Your support helps the New Frontiers of Sound (NewFoS) Science and Technology Center—funded by the National Science Foundation and based at the University of Arizona in Tucson—continue advancing groundbreaking research, expanding student opportunities, and driving the innovations in topological acoustics (TA) that will shape the future of sensing, telecommunications, and information science.
Led by Center Director Professor Pierre A. Deymier, NewFoS brings together 28 faculty members from 9 U.S. universities and colleges, alongside co-PIs from Caltech, University of Colorado Boulder, and City University of New York. Our leadership team also includes an Education and Broadening Impact Director and a Knowledge Transfer Director at the University of Arizona—ensuring our mission reaches far beyond the lab.
Your generosity enables us to:
Accelerate scientific breakthroughs and technological innovations with global impact.
Educate and train a skilled workforce to lead a new TA-based economy.
Create lasting intellectual, infrastructure, technological, economic, and societal legacies.
