The 52nd Annual Review of Progress in Quantitative Non-Destructive Evaluation (QNDE) took place July 23–25, 2025, at the Hotel Bonaventure in Montréal, Québec, Canada, with Dr. Tribikram Kundu serving proudly as Conference Chair.

Dr. Kundu, senior personnel of New Frontiers of Sound (NewFoS) and Professor in the Departments of Civil & Architectural Engineering & Mechanics, Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Arizona, welcomed attendees and reaffirmed QNDE’s mission: advancing science-based quantitative evaluation rooted in the physics of wave propagation.

📚 Technical Sessions Led by Dr. Kundu
Nonlinear Ultrasonic Techniques for NDE (with Zhongqing Su, HK PolyU)
Advanced Modelling for NDE (with Paul Fromme, UCL)
Material Characterization by Ultrasonic Waves (with Umar Amjad, Qatar University & Yanfeng Shen, SJTU)

🏆 Award Highlights

  • 2024 Outstanding Paper Award
