The NewFoS Primers are short, accessible introductions to fundamental concepts that support research in topological acoustics. They are designed to give students and researchers from a variety of backgrounds a common starting point and greater confidence with the mathematical and physical tools used across NewFoS projects.

So far, three primers have been developed:

• Waves (Basics)
• Oscillations (Basics)
• Lagrangian Mechanics

Each primer combines clear explanations with examples and simple exercises, offering a foundation that helps participants engage more fully in NewFoS research and education activities.
