Together, we’ll explore the powerful roles that curiosity, community, and personal growth play in sustaining motivation as researchers and learners.

Meet Our Speakers:

🔹 Howard Yawit Howard is a graduate researcher in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Arizona, where they are developing topological acoustic devices. With a strong background in electrical engineering, Howard brings a multidisciplinary approach to their work in the Advanced Nanoelectronics and Nanostructures Group.

🔹 Brooklyn Clarke Brooklyn’s research focuses on the environmental impact of supersonic aircraft combustion engines, aimed at promoting sustainability in aerospace technology. She is the social media chair for her university’s physics club and an active member of NSBE and SWE, where she advocates for diversity and inclusion in STEM.

🔹 Kazi Tahsin Mahmood Kazi is a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at Wayne State University. He holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His research investigates the topological characteristics of nonlinear granular beads
