We are happy to invite you to participate in the Second Academic Peer Symposium organized by New Frontiers of Sound (NewFoS). This symposium is designed to foster connections, teamwork, and mentorship across cohorts, while empowering students and postdocs to explore fulfilling career paths in STEM.

Symposium Objectives

  • Foster a supportive environment for students and postdocs to establish meaningful professional connections.
  • Strengthen the sense of belonging within NewFoS, STEM, and higher education communities.
  • Empower participants with tools, opportunities, and mentorship for professional and personal growth.

Program Goals

  • Develop a structured mentorship program linking students, postdocs, and early-career scientists.
  • Provide networking, internship, and career development opportunities to explore diverse STEM paths.
  • Encourage collaboration and innovation in tackling scientific challenges—particularly in Topological Acoustics—through diverse perspectives.
