Join us for the NewFoS Peer Symposium, a dynamic, fast-paced event designed to help our community practice, refine, and spotlight their research communication skills. This year, we are excited to feature 12 lightning talks, each offering presenters just five minutes to share their work clearly and creatively.
Symposium Objectives
- Foster connection: Create a supportive environment where students and postdocs can build meaningful professional relationships.
- Enhance belonging: Strengthen community ties within NewFoS, STEM fields, and higher education.
- Empower growth: Equip participants with mentorship, tools, and opportunities for both personal and professional advancement.
Program Goals
- Establish a structured mentorship network linking students, postdocs, and early-career scientists.
- Expand access to networking, internship, and career development opportunities across diverse STEM pathways.
- Encourage collaboration and innovation in Topological Acoustics and beyond through interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches.
