NewFoS Showcased Research and Talent at AAAS
NewFoS successfully participated in the AAAS 2026 Annual Meeting, held February 12–14 in Phoenix, where it presented cutting-edge research, real-world innovation, and new partnership opportunities to conference attendees.
As part of the expo program, Keith Runge delivered a lightning talk highlighting research and education initiatives at the New Frontiers of Sound, while Anwar Gatto presented work on low-temperature approaches for reconfigurable topological and photonic devices. Attendees also connected with experts including Sara P. Chavarria, who shared insights about collaborative research and training opportunities.
The event also marked an important professional milestone for Desire Tossoukpe, who attended the meeting with a fully sponsored registration ticket, enabling full participation in sessions, networking, and scientific exchange.
The gathering demonstrated the university’s continued leadership in advancing sound research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and workforce development, while strengthening its presence within the global scientific community.
