We are excited to invite you to participate in the First Academic Peer Symposium organized by New Frontiers of Sound (NewFoS). This symposium is designed to foster connections, teamwork, and mentorship across cohorts, while empowering students and postdocs to explore fulfilling career paths in STEM.

Objectives:

  • Build a supportive environment where students and postdocs can establish meaningful connections.
  • Strengthen your sense of belonging in NewFoS, STEM, and higher education.
  • Empower participants with tools, opportunities, and mentorship for professional growth.

Goals:

  • Establish a structured mentorship program connecting students, postdocs, and early-career scientists.
  • Provide networking opportunities, internships, and career development workshops to explore diverse STEM careers.
  • Encourage collaborative discussions and projects addressing scientific challenges, especially in Topological Acoustics, while emphasizing diverse perspectives and innovation.
